In fantastic condition and reluctantly selling due to home purchase. The car has always been under cover and in a garage when not in use. The previous owner carried out so many upgrades and the car has always been a dream to drive.<br />

A real head turner and in my opinion the best colour combination, red with cream interior.<br />

This is a high spec corvette, with an uprated 350ci (5.7litre) V8, uprated 200-4R transmission from a later corvette, Mirrored T-tops, air-conditioning, power steering, power windows, power locks, tilt and telescopic steering. The car is fully UK registered with proof of import duty and VAT payment. I also have a copy of the original Florida Title "Pink Slip".<br />

Engine<br />

350 Chevy Small block, 5.7 litres with Edelbrock Performer Manifold and rebuilt Holley 650cfm carb. New water pump, new Pierce Fuel Pump, All new fuel and coolant hoses, new high tension leads, Plugs, distributor cap and rotor. Chrome rocker covers and air filter. New viscous fan coupling and fan. New US made radiator. New secondary electric fan which engages with the air-conditioning. Powermaster Hi-Torque starter motor. The engine runs extremely smoothly with no smoke at all. As I"ve not had the engine apart, I cannot tell what has been done to this internally, however it has had all new core plugs fitted, the edelbrock performer manifold. A new flexplate was fitted last year as there was a tooth missing. All 1970"s power limiting US emissions EGR valves, flaps, hoses etc have been removed.<br />

Suspension and Steering<br />

New Pads fitted in the UK. New Discs and Calipers fitted in the US. I fitted new flexible brake hoses for the first MOT last year. New power steering hoses fitted in the UK. Brake fluid completely flushed and changed last year with Dot4.<br />

Heater<br />

The complete air-conditioning system was replaced in the US with a new pump, condenser and hoses. All heater control vacuum lines replaced. New fresh air duct flap in the passenger side wiper well. New Heater control vacuum switch.<br />

Electrics<br />

New power lock switches and actuators, new electric window switches. Halogen front lights, all correctly installed to UK spec. Rear Lights converted correctly to UK spec. New Duracell Advanced 650mAh battery fitted, converted to UK post terminals. <br />

Interior<br />

In great overall condition. The carpets are in good, clean, unscuffed condition. The Targa tops have had new seals installed. A new leather armrest pad has been fitted over a new handbrake cover. The seats have been professionally re-upholstered in the US and the seat pans carpetted to a very high standard which makes a fantastic upgrade over the painted steel originals. The leather seats are not worn or scuffed. The compartment doors have been replaced with new original spec parts as the fibreboard originals tend to disintegrate with age. <br />

Exterior<br />

Paintwork is in excellent condition, with a good quality respray having been done in Florida about 6 years ago (according to the last US owner). I"ve no reason to doubt this. The paint is in excellent overall condition and polishes to a fantastic deep shine. Being picky, there are a few micro blisters (less than 0.5mm in diameter) on the top of the front wings, however this is not noticeable unless you are very very close. All the badges are in place and in excellent condition. Replaced rear "Corvette" and gas cap emblem last year. Number plates are UK legal copies of US plates. <br />

Body<br />

The chassis is in absolutely fantastic condition with no corrosion at all that I can find. The fibreglass is also all in great condition.<br />

Wheels and Tyres<br />

Exceptional condition original alloy wheels with no kerbing or corrosion. Tyres are brand new Billboard white letters and really make the car stand out.<br />

Bad Bits<br />
The car originally had cruise control fitted. Everything is there and still fitted, including the control box, switch and vacuum lines apart from the servo which actuates the throttle linkage which presumably was taken off when the edelbrock manifold was fitted. These are not available (that I can find) as a reproduction part, therefore it is a case of keeping your eye out on Ebay.com. I"ve not bothered as I"d rather drive the car than take the fun out of it! <br />
Only one key. But I have blanks that simply need cutting.<br />
Radio and clock have previously been working, I believe the electrics under the dash need tidying. <br />
