1981 Chevrolet Corvette C3<br />

For sale is my pride and joy Corvette, first baby forces reluctant sale.<br />
<br />
I have owned the car for a year and was the first UK keeper of the car after being imported from the States.<br />
The car has had many new parts, starts first time, every time and drives great.<br />
The MOT is until next month but I will put a full year on before it goes.<br />
<br />
Since owning the car I have had a new alloy radiator fitted (the old one had a small leak) , new hoses and has been fully serviced. I fitted a DAB Kenwood stereo with a discreet antenna and upgraded the front speakers.<br />
<br />
The paintwork is excellent having had a full re-spray in the States. <br />
Mirrored T-tops in great condition with brand new storage bags included. <br />
The car is rust free. Any inspection welcome.<br />
The car had a full engine rebuild at 85,000 miles will bill to prove. A new clutch was fitted at the same time. A new carburetor and air filter has also been fitted. It sounds awesome and pulls very strong, no leaks from underneath anywhere.<br />
It has had many new suspension parts and also a sway bar on the rear. It drives and rides great!<br />
New actuators for the flip up lights has previously been fitted and they work as they should.<br />
New calipers and brake lines have been fitted in the States too.<br />
The tyres are the correct BR Goodwich and are practically brand new. <br />
New full weather stripping and door seals were fitted before I bought the car in the UK.<br />
The interior has had a lot of new parts such as seat covers, carpets, door cards (in the correct Camel colour) and centre console as well as new battery and storage compartments. Aftermarket wood steering wheel also fitted.<br />
Everything works, all the dials, heater, power mirrors, power door locks..ect.. The only thing missing is the A/C doesn"t work. (it has T-tops so who needs it...) I believe all the components are present to re-instate if desired.<br />
LED strip lights fitted just under the front spoiler that come on with the lights.<br />

I have loads of history for the car including the original spec and options sheet when purchased new as well as 3 sets of keys.<br />
<br />
I have loved owning this car and am in no hurry to sell so no silly offers, dreamers or tyre kickers please.<br />
This car really has to be viewed to appreciate it and I have kept it dry and regularly cleaned and driven.<br />
Please be aware this car is 37 years old and not in concours condition (hence the price) before viewing.<br />
I will not release the car until full funds have been cleared and require a deposit to secure if you want to buy it.<br />
