It is with sadness that I have to sell my Camaro. It"s a Z28 5.7 tpi, 25th anniversary model. Runs and drives, but ill health prevents me from finishing it off. No mot so would need collecting by trailer or recovery truck.
Stock drivetrain except for headers, decat, and a Borla stainless steel exhaust.
The body is solid except for a few small holes around the windscreen, which I"ve treated and sealed, but really need filling or welding properly. Windscreen is starting to delaminate, but only on blackout at bottom. The interior is good apart from split leather on the driver"s seat and a sagging headlining. I"ve even got the roller blind parcel shelf.
Needs small jobs sorting out. Washer hose and vacuum hoses perished and split, power lock and interior boot switches no longer work. Boot opens from outside ok. Ball joint boots split and handbrake has never been very good.
Could do with all the fluids changing now as it"s been off the road for several years.
Desirable model, desirable engine and limited numbers.
The later 3rd gens were actually very good cars compared to the early ones, and those TPI engines are torquey due to the long intake runners.
As long as the frame and floorboards aren’t rusted through it’s definately worth it.
