Chevrolet Corvette Convertible (6 speed manual), 5.7l V8,450 bhp, Flame Red, excellent condition, owned since 2009, low mileage 33,895, 3 owners from new, full service history, MOT was on 13/05/2016, taxed and ready to test drive (with deposit left before test drive) <br />
Electric windows, Air conditioning, Leather trim, Height adjustable driver"s seat & passenger sports seat, Mirrored Alloy wheels, Spare wheel (Space-saver), Power steering, central locking, Driver"s airbags, personal corvette plate, new straight through exhaust system, every optional extra available. It s had a full service done 500 miles ago. As well as new serpentine belt. (work carried out by prestatyn mot centre).<br />
While it was having its service two years ago the car was unfortunately hit by another drive on the from drivers side, the other driver admitted fault, and his insurance paid in excess of 16,000 to have the car repaired this included the service, re aligning the wheels, re spraying the body work (front and read to match), new suspension, new mirrored wheels, As well as all other work that needed doing to the car to get it back to show room condition (hence the gap in the mot history).<br />
The car has covered 33.895 miles from new, including having all the receipts for everything, full service history, mot s and plenty of spares to go with the car including new dash board (as these were becoming hard to come by 300 + receipt for repair done to original), original exhaust system ( 150), original ecu (upgraded for power and economy 180), serpentine belt ( for the code if ever it should need changing again), brand new (only opened once to check no problems) black convertible roof ( 600-800), 2 x new headlights ( 60), 2 x rear taillight ( 100), original pulley system ( 100), spare handbrake ( 200), 3 sets of spare keys and fob, the owner s manuals, VHS video of the corvette museum with and original advertising for the c4 (shows the age of the car), and personal licence plate H4 VTE and a fully covered outdoor cover.<br />
The car is a real head turner but does have some bad points, seat belt light stays on (no damage to seat belt, wire loose in sensor needs re attaching not mot fail), needs a new sound system if your bothered by that Halfords sell the stereo to fit it and the adaption plate for 200, there is a knock from behind the engine goes away when revved or moving (it has done this in the 7 years I have owned the car), the weather stripping around the windows will need replacing (not leaking, it s now showing its age as its the original piece fitted), piece of trim needs re-affixing (I will do the piece of trim before the car goes if I have the time if not will reduce price by 50 as it s not a big job to do), On the last mot the advisories were, oil leak (fixed), brake hoses working but would need changing in the future, rear shock absorber starting to corrode, windscreen wipers (have purchased all items, just awaiting delivery will not have time to fit them) the price has been modified to reflect the work that needs doing to the car.<br />
On the sad note that I sell this car as I m thinking of moving, and I will neither have the time to look after it, I ve had 7 years of fun, excitement and adventure with this car, and made some amazing friends from American car clubs and shows, it regularly participates in these events, I want it to go to someone who will look after the car as I have done and I want the next owner to have as much fun out of it as I have had out of it. <br />
