A very rare, sought after 1993 Toyota Camry V6 Xle model. Its runs like a dream engine wise but has developed an intermittent gearbox fault which needs repair/ overhaul.<br />

Mileage: 54k miles, yes 54k Miles since new!<br />
Imported from the US (New York to be precise) in 1999<br />

Its equipped with the massively powerful 3vz-fe, the bulletproof 3.0 v6 engine which purrs along the highway in true US fashion- It is mated to an electronically controlled a540e 4 speed Overdrive automatic.<br />

Good bits;<br />

_Engine runs as it should - doesn"t drink oil, doesn"t leak water and pulls strongly in any gear. With only 54k the engine is the stronghold of this car<br />
_Suspension in excellent condition<br />
_All electrics work (Even the electric sunroof)<br />
_Very rare spoiler on bootlid<br />

_Auto Box has an intermittent fault- when cold, car runs fine in all gears except reverse (which doesn"t engage very well) but when warm, the engine can lose all gears when slowing down and stopping- the likely cause is a solenoid/ valve body issue but it could also be a bigger issue with the clutch plates, which will require a tear-down and rebuild.<br />
_The passenger side mirror is cracked and may need replacing (depending on personal taste..)<br />

Although the gearbox can suddenly lose gears when warm, it runs well when cold and works fine for HOURS when on the motorway, where you don"t need to change gears. Generally used for local trips since its import, hence low mileage.<br />
<br />
Overall a lovely car that just needs a gearbox repair to get it back into a perfectly usable modern classic.<br />
