Low mileage and in immaculate condition, this LT1-powered F-Body is a real throwback, and a real catch.Ah, the fourth-generation Chevy Camaro. Aerodynamic, affordable, and easy to modify. But build quality was always iffy, the ’90s-tastic interior is enough to give some people nightmares, and they depreciated so quickly that many were used up and thrown away. Love them or hate them, you can’t help but be impressed by this immaculate 1995 Z28, which is for sale on Carzoid right now.This could be the cleanest ’95 we’ve seen since, well, 1997 or so. According to the listing, this California car has been owned by one “elderly Santa Barbara owner since new.” With just 21,930 miles, the listing claims that it even smells like new. Based on looks alone, we’d believe that.Inside, there are no tears, discolorations, or shine on the leather buckets. They actually still look supple, which isn’t easy to maintain in the California sun. Black plastic trim keeps its rich color and nothing looks too brittle. The likely dealer-installed dash cover certainly helps. And the aftermarket interior wood veneers actually look good! Seen in the wild, these relics are usually horribly delaminated and peeling. Here, they actually give the car a cool old-school muscle car feel.Outside, the Arctic White paint shines like the day it rolled off the assembly line. The seller claims that the Z28 has “no dings, no nicks, always garaged and pampered.” It also has a consistent, deep shine. The throwing-star wheels look great here too, with no obvious signs of curb rash. We’d like to get a look under that bra, however, as those things have a tendency to melt onto the paint from time to time.In all, this thing is one impressive time capsule, right down to the aftermarket goodies and the Delco tape deck still sitting in the dash. Unfortunately, we don’t get a look at the 5.7-liter LT1 engine. And the four-speed automatic transmission is a bit of a downer. Nonetheless, the $10,900 asking price sounds pretty reasonable to us. Sit on it for 10 years and sell it at Barrett-Jackson, or put a few more miles on it.
