This Astro was imported from Japan and registered in the UK in December 2007. When I purchased the vehicle from its previous owner in September 2014, its indicated mileage was approximately 53,000; the Astro now shows 57,560 (this will increase as I will use the vehicle occasionally). I have some service history from the previous owners; one document shows the indicated mileage was 25,808 in April 2009. Given the condition of the vehicle, and that it was imported from Japan, the mileage indication could be accurate.<br />

It would appear this standard Astro CL was customised in Long Beach California, by the company All Star. The van was lowered, many items colour-coded in silver, and candy stripes were airbrushed on its sides and rear. I presume at this time the Boyds CNC 16 wheels were fitted to replace the standard wheels. In 2015, due to lacquer peel on the front wings and bonnet, I had extensive paintwork carried out, as well as a repair a small dent from a reversing incident by the previous owner. At this time the All Star stripes were removed in the interests of good taste!<br />

The vehicle has factory fitted front Captain"s chairs, rear privacy glass, top-tint windscreen, roof bars, central locking, electric windows, cruise control. The front and rear air conditioning system is not operational; the previous owner advised me the compressor was broken, and a bypass pulley was installed. It was my intention to fit a new compressor (the old one is with the vehicle), but I have not yet gotten around to it.<br />

The Astro features the Dutch door arrangement, with lift-up rear window and two opening lower doors.<br />

In addition to the paintwork in 2015, some 1,500 or so miles ago a major overhaul and service was carried out by a renowned, local American vehicle specialist, and included:<br />

- New plugs, HT leads, ignition pickup coil, coil, rotor arm and distributor cap<br />
- Transmission flush, fluid change and installation of new filter<br />
- Air filter<br />
- Oil filter and oil change<br />
- Front brake pads<br />
- Front and rear wiper blades<br />
- New parking light/sidelight lenses<br />
- New cat-back exhaust system<br />
- 4 new tyres<br />
- 2 new hatch gas struts<br />

A Grant signature steering wheel and Sony CD Bluetooth head unit have been fitted, and all original speakers replaced with ones from Alpine/Pioneer.<br />
<br />
Whilst this Astro is now over 25 years old, it remains a comfortable, surprisingly quick and versatile vehicle, especially as the rear bench seats can be quickly removed.<br />

The current MOT expires 7 July 2017, however I would be happy to renew this prior to sale.<br />
<br />
Supplied with the vehicle is a used set of four OEM 15 alloy wheels.<br />
