1996 CHEVROLET SUBURBAN 5.7 V8 1500 LT 4X4 For Sale

Here up for sale is my 1996 Chevrolet Suburban which I have owned for the last 6 years and loved every minute of it.<br />
<br />
<br />
She has been my little old faithful and has only let me down once as she needed a new fuel pump. A new fuel pump was sourced and fitted and since then has been reliable every day.<br />
<br />
<br />
She has been serviced every year without fail regardless of mileage covered. She has only covered 11,500 km in the 6 years and has only ever had top of the range oils used in her.<br />
<br />
<br />
Please note that the mileage showing is in km (254,000) and this converts approximately to 154,000 miles which is nothing for this size of engine and <br />
also low for the age of her.<br />
<br />
She has full leather interior (drivers seat has been pictured showing were the stitching has come apart). Front seats are electric and work.<br />
<br />
Everything works inside except for the CD player and the Air Con. All the interior lights have been upgraded to COB LED.<br />
<br />
Full set of Chevrolet overmats throughout the front and rear.<br />
<br />

She comes in midnight blue over silver. She looks really good for her age (21 years old) but would benefit with having some cancer patches sorting out.<br />
<br />
She qualifies for classic insurance as most of you American Enthusiasts <br />
will already know.<br />
<br />
We fitted a bug/wind deflector to her which I also think adds to her curb appeal.<br />
<br />
She also has a 52" curved flood/spot lightbar fitted on the top of the roof/windshield as can be seen in the pictures. (A link is also attached showing this lit up).<br />
<br />
Headlights are also Xenon which in my opinion do make a difference.<br />

She will need a new rear bumper which can be sourced from either U.S. Automotives or possibly here on ebay. (Once again I have included the rear bumper in the pictures).<br />
<br />
She is fitted with a Scorpion Alarm System SA30 which is also insurance approved. Installation Certificate is present and will be passed onto the new owner.<br />
<br />
<br />
Owners Chevrolet Manual is also present along with a Service book which has addresses of Chevrolet dealers throughout the world.<br />
<br />
2 sets of keys and 2 fobs are present. <br />
<br />
Drivers door is key opened as the locking servo broke (new locking system is included in sale). The rest of the central locking works fine and opens all doors and rear barn doors.<br />
<br />
Button operated 4X4. We have NEVER taken her off road but if you press the 4wheel drive button you can hear everything engage.<br />
<br />
<br />
Mechanically I can"t personally fault her. I have happily included a couple of links for you to hear how sweet her engine sounds with no leaks or rattles.<br />

She will need a section of her exhaust replacing, this does not affect her performance or the sweetness of her running.<br />

Handbrake seized before Christmas so it has been disconnected at the drums on the back. (I think this has seized due to lack of use).<br />

Please do not expect her to be a showroom condition vehicle as she is 21 years old and is regularly used by me to run around in most days of the week.<br />

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PRIVATE REGISTRATION WILL BE GETTING REMOVED FROM THE CAR AND HER AGE RELATED PLATE PUT BACK ONTO HER, SO THEREFORE IT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE.<br />

Any inspection is more than welcome but please note that I will be doing anything to do with holding the keys and sitting in the driving seat. (In other words, no test pilots, no people wanting to get a kick out of revving the [email protected]@%%ks out of a V8). <br />

If you like to drive around and not stand out, or you are carrying on lol, or are wanting to know what she does to the gallon then maybe she isn"t the car for you.<br />

SINCE BUYING ANOTHER VEHICLE THE SUBURBAN HAS JUST SAT THERE AND NOT MOVED SO ITS SEEMS A LITTLE UNFAIR FOR HER TO BE SAT THERE AND NOT GETTING USED.
