A great opportunity here to own a Dodge Ram motorhome, with a 5.9 Cummins 24v Diesel engine truck, with the desirable extra cab, and a well-crafted motorhome conversion at the rear. This truck is a real head-turner, great fun to drive and is very well set up for any camping trip. It is registered with the DVLA as a motorhome, so this makes the insurance a bit cheaper!<br />
It has the much sought 5.9 Cummins engine, but with many upgrades and improvements under the bonnet, including intake manifold, turbo and intercooler. So many things to mention there is a whole folder of work that has been done on this. Runs at about 350bhp, so pulls itself and a 3.5 ton trailer no bother at all at motorway speeds. <br />
It has a long range fuel tank which holds approximately 360 litres, so can go a fair distance between fuelling. Does the same kind of mpg as most 4x4s do, I ve been getting about 22 25 mpg out of it, but spent a lot of time roaming about the Scottish Highlands! <br />
Really very sad to have to sell it, but there is a house to be bought, and apparently living in it permanently isn t an option!<br />
THE TRUCK:<br />

- Left Hand Drive, 6 speed manual transmission, 4WD, 2WD, FWH and re-built LSD in the rear. <br />

- Private plate R6 RAM is worth around 3000 itself. Metal pressed plates currently on it. <br />

- Fibreglass back box (less prone to rot etc.) Entry via retractable steps at rear of vehicle. <br />
- 100 litre water tank, runs hot and cold water.<br />
- 2200 watts constant of 240v electric (from lorry battery mounted underneath on a split charger)<br />
- Fridge, oven, grill, 3 ring hob<br />
- Shower, toilet, sink. <br />
- Multiple storage areas. <br />
- Double bed which folds up into large sofa. <br />
