This video proves that every Chevrolet Corvette should come with a twin turbo V8 with more than 2,000 horsepower. This dyno video features a C6 Chevrolet Corvette stretching its legs on the rollers. The details with this video are limited, but this beast known as the Unicorn ‘Vette isn"t hard to track down online. I found that this C6 Corvette is powered by a 416 cubic inch V8 from the crew at Late Model Engines fitted with a monster twin turbo setup from D3 Performance Engineering, featuring a pair of 88mm turbochargers. There is also a big nitrous setup, helping turbo spool and further lifting the output of this wicked Corvette. In the video below, we get to watch at the Unicorn Vette makes a hard run on the dyno. Early on in the video, the turbos blow fire up over the windshield when the boost levels max out and from there, this Corvette is so loud that the microphone on this camera cannot contain the sheer awesomeness of the exhaust tone. After a few seconds of wide open throttle, the driver backs down and there is more fire blasting from the turbo "downpipes" (which actually point up into the air).Remarkably, the tires of this twin turbocharged Chevrolet Corvette are able to put all of the power to the ground and while we don"t get numbers for this run, the details insist that it has more than 2,000 horsepower. In looking through other videos online, I found that with full boost and the nitrous, this Corvette will make more than 2,400 horsepower.Even if this isn"t a 2,400hp run, this video provides a fine example of what one of the world"s most powerful Corvettes can do when being tested in a safe, traction-friendly environment.Crank up your speakers and enjoy!
