This is a very special and tastefully tuned truck. I"ve owned it since it was imported by a close friend of mine in June this year. It"s fair to say I bought the car on a bit of a whim, but, it"s by far one of the most enjoyable and hilarious cars I"ve ever driven and had the pleasure of owning. Amazingly, despite being a 5.7L HEMI, if driven smoothly at 70mph this truck will do 27MPG on motorway journeys!<br />

The friend that imported the truck, bought and inspected it face-to-face from the previous owner before then using it as his own vehicle in Texas whilst he was there on business for a month. He covered just over 1000 miles in it in Texas before it went into a container in Houston. I personally collected it from Southampton Port as soon as it arrived in the UK and handled the UK duty and Import. The previous owner in Texas is what you could call a "proper Mopar Guy" and true enthusiast he absolutely loved it and made it what it is now. This is an extremely rare (in the UK) 2 door singlecab Ram. Single cabs are horrifically more expensive to import than the crew cab (4 door) making them few and far between here. The car is fully UK registered with a V5, and two keys.<br />

The mileage on the truck is 183,000 - I appreciate to some that may seem high, however, those that know, will tell you it"s pretty typical for a low-revving V8 HEMI of this age. If you are specifically looking at buying US imported trucks, always be VERY wary about trucks with seemingly low mileage. American cars are extremely easy to clock and some UK importers have been known to lower the mileage on imports to make their cars and trucks appear to be younger than they are. This is a genuine truck with genuine miles and anyone that wishes to do a full background check on the car using USA service CarFax is welcome to do so. This truck has no secrets and has nothing to hide. <br />

Bearing in mind that this was used as a commercial truck in Texas for pretty much all of its life, the interior is VERY clean. The exterior is pretty clean but it does have a few scratches (again, it is a truck after all). There are also some very minor dinks on the bonnet from Texan hailstones but I can honestly say it doesn"t detract from the truck"s appearance at all. Soon after buying it I had planned to get a paintwork specialist to sort all of this but then decided in the end that it wasn"t necessary at all - if like me you"re a bit of a perfectionist it might be something you want to arrange at some point, but otherwise, the truck is incredibly clean. I"m pleased to say that there is no rust whatsoever anywhere on the truck and the underside cleanliness is frankly outstanding. <br />

Now the important stuff, with great tuning comes great power... this is a fast truck that requires attention when driving and is definitely not for the faint of heart. There is ABS but there is no traction control meaning that this can be an "exciting" drive in the wet. That said, with the Belltech suspension setup it handles wonderfully.<br />

I am selling the truck for no other reason than it"s just not being used. Most weekends I"ll fire it up and take it for a short drive but other than that it"s doing nothing and is taking up valuable space in my little car and motorcycle collection. I"d love to see this go to an enthusiast that will offer it the time it deserves to enjoy. I know full well that I"ll regret letting this one go. I will listen to sensible offers but in return, I ask for a quick and easy sale. Free time is a precious rarity for me so I"d rather not have a back and forth deal battles.<br />
