2004 Dodge Ram SRT10
8.3 litre V10 Dodge Viper engine
500hp!
Tremec T56 six speed manual transmission
Cherished Reg No.

Real deal first edition of this awsome sport muscle truck fitted with the 505ci Dodge Viper engine and transmission
For many years this was the fastest production pick up built only beaten by a Maloo Aussie ute which lets face it isnt a full size pickup

Impressive specs out of the box include the already mentioned and legendary aluminium 8.3 litre V10 Dodge Viper engine, Tremec 6 speed manual transmission only available in the single cabs, bullet proof Dana rear end, 550 foot/pounds of torque, 22 inch wheels, uprated brakes and suspension.
Sub 5 second 0-60 time and just shy of 155mph top speed.

Its an amazing vehicle to drive, its docile enough for your girlfriend to pop to the corner shop for a pint of milk or you can go and be back before the kettle boils. The acceleration is brutal when you put the hammer down, no turbos or blowers, just sheer cubic inches and torque, it just keeps pulling and pulling in every gear. It demands total respect on anything but a completely dry and open road.
Its a very viceral driving experience, more like driving a big block manual sixties muscle car than a luxury car.
While you shouldn"t ask the economy question on a vehicle like this on the 6 speed manual versions the top gear is very tall and drops the revs right down and it isn"t as bad as you think on a run, i have several 50"s Cadillacs and it doesn"t seem much worse than those

This example is a very genuine unmolested recent import with just 2 prior USA owners.
Low milage of just under 47k
Completely clean Carfax report showing no damage ever!
Totally original and unmodified
Lots of paperwork, original window sticker, Carfax report, import paperwork etc

For those that dont know a Carfax report is like an American HPI report but better, tells you if the vehicle has been clocked, been damaged, shows the service history, number of owners, you really shouldnt buy a late model American vehicle without a Carfax check, i have checked quite a few over the years and at least half of them have been clocked or have prior damage.

Recent work since import includes the wheels refurbished in chrome powdercoat,
a machine polish of the paintwork and ceramic coating, it shines like a diamond in a goats *ss :)
Steam cleaned underneath the coated in clear Waxoyl to further preserve it.
It had a pair of track rod ends for the MOT then a full wheel alignment done.
Its had a recent full service and had the tensioner pulley replaced
Cherished Reg No. valued circa 1000

Options include leather/suede seats embossed with the SRT10 logo, power windows, power seats, power heated mirrors, cruise control, premium sound system with sub woofer behind the seats, optional lockable hard bed cover and spoiler, bedliner in excellent condition and much more

Overall i would say the truck is in very good condition, it starts , runs and drives totally without fault.
There are a few age related marks to be expected as it nears its 15th birthday but overall its great
Wheeler Dealers just featured one of these in their latest season which is bound to push prices up when it airs over here next year

So there it is, a first edition single cab SRT10 in the best colour, one of only 1269 black ones built in 2004
No aftermarket wheels or stripes
No modifications
Just a genuine un messed with truck with good history you can enjoy
Can only go up in value

Walkaround video and detailed photos available

Offered for sale at 26,995

Might deal with a nice 50s Cadillac Coupe/Conv, Impala etc, late model American Pickup, high end build 50s truck etc
Cash up or down. Try me but be realistic on value. I have no interest in non American vehicles, none!
