For sale is my stunning 2005 Ford Crown Vic. This is a genuine US police cruiser. It was in service from new for Cecil County Sheriffs office in Maryland and was imported to the UK in 2012. It has the (Mustang GT) 4.6 modular V8 which returns about 25mpg which sounds like a sewing machine, the 4 speed auto which changes smoothly, as and when it should and an open rear end. Being a 2005 it is the first of the rack and pinion steering cars with wider front and rear track and inch bigger wheels and brakes. Mechanically all I"ve really had to do is change the power steering pump and the rear calipers which stick. Both being Vic known problems. It drives like a normal big car with none of that US wobble or vagueness and is cheap to tax and the MOT is until January 2019.<br />
I bought it in 2016 as a Chicago Traffic car and decided to change it to the Rick Grimes car from the US zombie drama series "The Walking Dead" at great expense early this year. To create a faithful and accurate replica the car was professionally PAINTED (not wrapped) in Ford White and Olympia blue. The light bar is a brand new old stock Whelen Edge 9000. The grill has been changed to the police SAP grill and the wheels have been fitted with the Ford Explorer centre caps. The grill and wheel centres are not police correct now but they are what the TV production company used for some reason!!?? The TV car probably wasn"t actually a cop car . <br />
