I bought this car for a European road trip which it"s just completed without a hitch. Over the last few weeks I"ve driven the car best part of 4000 miles through France, Belguim, Holland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, back to Sweden then home again at a very good average of 28 mpg<br />
<br />
Prior to the trip the car had new Autolite spark plugs, fresh engine oil and filter, the throttle body was cleaned and it had new brake pads all round.<br />
<br />
It starts, runs and drives spot on, uses no oil or water.<br />
<br />
It has a few age related marks, a couple of tiny hood (bonnet) blisters like all S197s do and a couple paint chips but overall the bodywork is good.<br />
<br />
The convertible top seals well, no leaks or excessive wind noise, a couple of tiny cracks on the outer vinyl where it folds again like they all do.<br />
<br />
The black leather interior is in excellent condition<br />
