With the arrival of the 2016 Chevy Camaro, GM is looking to steal some thunder from the Ford Mustang’s 50th anniversary by taking back the sales crown. From the already-released performance specifications we know that the Camaro SS is about a half-second quicker to 60 mph than its cross-town rival, and we know that the starting prices are similar as well. But what we haven’t known until now are the price breakdowns for option packages.

As GM already let us know, pricing for the 2016 Camaro starts at $26,695 (including destination) for the 275 horsepower four-cylinder turbo 1LT, while the 335 horsepower 3.6 liter V6 commands a $1,495 premium. The Camaro 1SS starts at $37,295 with destination, with the 2SS starting at $42,295. Of course that’s all before selecting any other options.

It's getting more 'Asian' looking.

Headlights are like eyes, they are getting more squinty.

DO like the 2014 hellcat and s197 mustangs but this new generation pig iron not to my liking , they is a white 2013?? camero in worthing looks nice but has 20-22" wheels dosn't look right even got a parking ticket in worthing the other day bet the owner wasn't too pleased??

Has he has a knock on the noggin or is it the welsh air?

I adore the 2016 Camaro. I prefer the looks over the previous model, which I still like, as it just looks sharper and more athletic looking. Any new model takes a little time to get used to I guess.

I'm in daily contact with a colleague in the states with s 2012 Camaro SS, he has popped a supercharger on it. for tuning they just take it to a high street shop. A bit different to things over here.

The only problem with the new gen Camaro (I tried one before I bought my Mustang) is the genuinely horrendous visibility issue when driving. I thought going from a panel van daily driver would make it fairly easy - how wrong could I be?
I agree it's a great looking car though...
