The newest 1LE package for the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro SS helps improve the performance capabilities of the 455 horsepower muscle car in pretty much every way, but above all, this high performance package makes the Camaro SS a far more formidable foe on a road course. The 6g Camaro SS 1LE package adds Magnetic Ride Control with the FE4 suspension package, an electronic rear differential with 3.73 gears, Brembo 6-piston front brakes, forged aluminum 20 inch wheels wrapped in 305mm-wide Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires, the dual mode exhaust system, drivetrain coolers, a short throw shifter, a new rear spoiler, a new front splitter, a black hood and Recaro race seats.In short, the new Camaro SS 1LE handles better, brakes better, accelerates better and cuts through the air more efficiently, but that doesn"t stop it from roasting the those huge rear tires and this video is proof.The details are short, but we know that the owner of this particular 2017 Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE is making his first attempt at burnouts and "drifting" in a big, empty parking lot. For the duration of the video, the driver whips the back end of his new Camaro SS around over and over, smoke pouring from the rear tires as the new LT1 roars through the dual mode exhaust. Not surprisingly, even with the 1LE package upgrades, this 455 horsepower Camaro smokes the tires when it is sliding and when it comes to a stop making for an impressive collection of stripes in the parking lot while smoke fills the air.Unfortunately, the Camaro SS 1LE"s owner couldn"t find someone with a decent phone to film the action, so the footage is a bit grainy, but this is great 1LE burnout action even with low res video.Tags: 1LE, Burnout Fridays, camaro, Camaro SS, Camaro SS 1LE, LT1
