3D printers

Whilst talking with a supplier today, I had a chance to look at some work created by a 3D printer. Just wow.
I need one of these at home!!!

If you don't know what these things can do, a quick youtube search will show you.

Yep, impressive, you can create anything. However the things it creates isn't strong, but probably good to make a mold from.

If you had one what would you make?

I could start with those impossible to find interior pieces I need for the TATA.
Diarama sets, models of virtually anything. It's limitless - you could start a one person cottage industry and make a good living with an ebay store!

You're the first person I've come across who actually owns a Tata! Any photos?

I would love a 3D printer myself, unfortunately they are thousands of £s. Perhaps they will come down in price eventually though.

Awesome Trans Am, and very interesting blog too.

Massive misunderstanding on my part! I knew you owned the Trans Am, but for some reason I didn't twig that TATA stood for 10th Anniversary Trans Am, and I thought for a moment that you also owned an Indian truck or 4x4! Hence my comment about not knowing anyone who actually owns a Tata! Doh!

Knowing the quality of Tata interiors, a 3D printer would probably make quite passable interior trim for a Tata truck, lol. Not sure you could make good enough spares for a 10th Anniversary Trans am with one though!
