This burnout video comes to us from the ETX Performance YouTube channel and it features a 4th generation Chevrolet Camaro SS doing a couple quick burnouts. This car has a custom look on the outside, but more importantly, the stock engine has been replaced with a stronger LS2 allowing the manually-shifted muscle car to roast the rear tires.LS2 4th GenThe Chevrolet Camaro was never offered with the LS2 engine, going from the LS1 in the 4th generation to the LS3 in the 5th generation, but the owner of this Chevy muscle car replaced his LS1 with an LS2. There are no details accompanying this video, but based on the sound, we would guess that this isn"t a stock LS2. It has more grumble than your average GTO, suggesting that it might be cammed and it might have an upgraded exhaust setup. After all, are you going to swap an LS2 into an LS1 car and run stock exhaust? Probably not.In addition to the newer engine, this 4th gen Camaro has some custom bodywork, unique red striping and some bigger-than-stock chrome wheels wrapped in some variety of performance rubber.Light ’em UpThe video begins with a walk-around of the Camaro, but around the 35-second mark, we get to the good part. After a quick blast by the camera, the car comes to a stop for a stationary burnout. The driver doesn"t let the car sit in place for long before letting off of the brakes, but it gets the tires spinning good and hard in that short time. Finally, as the Camaro rolls towards the camera at speed, the driver hammers down, smoking the tires as the car builds speed and races off into the distance.Join the LS1tech forums now!Tags: 4th gen Camaro, Burnout friday, Camaro Z/28, LS2, Video
