Due to Budget and Timeconstraints the Hampshire police have had to withdraw from organising thisyear’s 999 day.
The event which will be held at Beachlandsbetween, 10:00 – 16:00 followed by a Sunset Ceremony & Lowering of theFlag.

This is a great day of FREEfun and entertainment for all the family to enjoy and a chance to meet theResponders, Coastguards, Fire brigade, Ambulance and Police the people thatdeal with emergencies on the Island.
Also there will be MilitaryEmergency support vehicles, vintage vehicles & many more attractions, withdisplays from the various organisations (subject to them not already on anemergency call).
Both South Central AmbulanceService and Havant Borough Council are giving us full support for the event.

If you are a member of abusiness or group that deals with emergencies and would like to participate inthe event please contact the event director : Richard Coates email: rcoatesfire@btinternet.com to discuss the event with him.

They would like American cars / emergency vehicles.

Its on the same day as the Southsea cruise but this even will be finished in time. However its also the same day as Beaulieu

It's nice and local, just a shame it clashes with Beaulieu :(

A number of charities supporting the emergency services, including the air ambulance, Hayling 3rd Scouts, St Johns Ambulance, Red Cross, Hampshire Rescue Dogs and the RNLI were able to raise much needed funds for their particular good causes.

They hope we can support them next year on Sunday 26th June 2016 at Hayling’s 999 Emergency Services Day.
They have already started planning to make the 2016 event bigger and better.
