Imported by myself after spending all its life in the dry State of California, so absolutely no rust.<br />
A very unique breed of car which I love. In their day they won more Trans American racing championships than Ford or GM.<br />
This car has extensive history from new to present day, it wants for nothing. It has a solid and recently dyno tested 36ci v8 engine fitted with a genuine Carter AFB carb onto a Edlebrock sp inlet manifold breathing through dual flowmaster system 40 exhausts, bought to life by Ignitor electronic ignition. The car`s transmission is the Chrysler 727 3speed column change as fitted to the legendary chargers and challengers, which came as standard with this small American manufacturer who was originally Nash and the famous Willys Jeep before being bought by Chrysler and Renault in the late 1988-89.<br />
The Interior has recently been sympathetically restored including the Tic-Tach. These cars are TRUE muscle cars that turn heads wherever they go. I did not import this to sell,but unfortunately life changes, who ever secures this car has one of the most unique and aspiring clasiccs ever made with a fanatical following with easy to obtain spares.<br />
The unique thing about AMC is that as a small company they could not afford to manufacture the common items soa lot of GM, Ford,Chrysler parts fit, as does a lot of the engine parts due to Jeep buying the rights and still basing their engine blocks on them <br />
