Here's a few photos of some of the old American cars I spotted in Cuba...
1956 Buick Special:

1957 Buick Special:

'53 Cadillac:

'59 Cadillac:

'58 Buick:

'60 Chevrolet Impala - with a roof chop:

'59 Chevrolet Bel Air:

'53 Chevrolet Bel Air:

1958 Edsel Pacer:

1955 Dodge Kingsway:

1970 Chrysler 300:

Ford Falcon (Argentinian-built):

1950-ish International pickup:

1957 Imperial:

1949 Jeep Jeepster:

late '50s Jeep Station Wagon:

Kaiser Henry J:

2004 Lincoln Aviator - despite the trade embargo there were a few modern American cars out there!:

'54 Mercury wagon:

1951 Lincoln Club Coupe - this was my favourite:

1954 Nash Rambler:

'57 Nash Rambler:

1959 Oldsmobile Super 88:

another '59 Olds:

1951 Pontiac - converted into a truck!:

'53 Plymouth:

1956 Plymouth Belvedere:

1957 Pontiac Chieftain:

If you like these I thoroughly recommend a visit to Cuba. There were '50s American cars on virtually every street corner - way too many to photograph! Cuba has other stuff going for it too - Havana is a stunning and interesting city, there are some great beaches, and it's pretty safe for tourists too - crime is low.
