American cars don't handle?

shawl y the way a car handle's is just a matter of opinion. if you like it it's good.

I've just never understood how they can like the tail out antics of cars like the Monaro and other rear drive coupes but when an American car does it it's shit and doesn't handle. Then you get a load of idiots who know nothing jump on the band wagon.
Personally I love rear drive and hanging the arse out at will, especially compared to front drive pushing the the steering wheels into understeer at every opportunity!

You see so much more going sidewards anybody can do straight even my mum at 82!!!

It's a myth, largely. All my American cars (the Saturns and Pontiac Bonnevilles) handled competantly.

Many of the current crop of American cars can stand shoulder to shoulder with Europes finest in terms of handling. Cadillac in particular has definitely cracked it. The previous Cadillac CTS-V held the record for a lap of the Nurburgring for a four-door saloon. The Cadillac ATS's handling has been favourably compared to the BMW 3 Series.
