After nearly 12 years of ownership and countless hours of fun and good times, it is with reluctance and regret that my 1946 Ford Coupe, "Daddy Cool" is for sale. Tax-free and MOT exempt (I have it MOT d for peace of mind anyway) and MOT"d until March 2018.

Originally built in the States, it"s the all-steel real deal and was imported from Monroe, Michigan in early 2005 to it"s first (previous) owner. Additional paintwork and interior / trimming were done here since I purchased it.
SBF (believed "68 Mustang), PAS, PAB, electronic dizzy, re-built 3-speed automatic (by Automatix) rebuilt prop (by J.W"s.) Whilst the prop was out, the underside was Waxoyled throughout. Ford 9" rear. Comprehensive information and receipts are all in the vehicle s file.

Re-wired, solenoid locks, tinted glass, one-piece electric windows, all gauges working, original speedo and fuel gauge. BMW 3-series seats (fronts are Recaros) were all pre-trimmed, all other interior trim was by Chris Gregory at Tarot Tops. Ididit special-order chrome column with integral ignition, "Saturn" white-rimmed steering wheel.
American Racing Torque Thrust 2s, 14" front (recent new tyres) and 15" rear.

Please be aware that the clear front indicator lenses pictured have now been replaced with amber ones (also more in-keeping with the paint) and the boot lettering has been removed.

Being very "picky", it"s been around for a few years now and even though it s been well-maintained, looked after and cared for, there is the odd mark, chip, scratch, here and there but nothing that detracts from the overall presentation and effect it s been driven not hidden and has done around 500 miles annually since purchase.

There s no real "bad bits" as such - the wipers are slow and don"t self-park; the autobox s inhibitor switch needs wiring, if required.

If you"ve any questions, please ask and I shall try to find out the answer for you. More pictures are available on request or better still, come and see it in the steel. If you"d like to view, the kettle"s on; bring your valid driving licence and insurance.
