How refreshing to find a classic American muscle car up for auction with no barn find" nonsense attached to it. Though, this 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 must have spent a fair bit of time cooped up in a garage / barn/ outhouse of some sort. It"s only covered 18,000 miles in its entire 49-year life. This example will be auctioned, just in time for Christmas, at the Mecum Auctions Kansas City Sale this weekend. There"s no estimate attached to the sale just yet, but it"s not going to be a cheap pony car. The Boss 429 is a very sought-after spec, and you could eat your dinner off this one.
