Gone are the days of kids using potato shapes as paintbrushes to make art. Nowadays, the full array of crayons, pencils and spray cans needed to make a masterpiece worthy of the kitchen fridge have been digitised in Photoshop.Just look at Yasid Oozeear"s amazing creations above to see what we"re on about.Like previously featured Photoshop doyen, Khyzyl Saleem, Yasid merges motorsport with an apocalyptic future that makes for Armageddon-spec supercars/race cars and er, Tyrell F1-car racing pick-up trucks. You may recognise the style from earlier in the week, when we showed Jon Olsson"s mad Lambo F1 car concept mash up. That"s because it"s Yasid"s work.Using cars like the Bugatti Chiron, La Ferrari, old American muscle and Japanese imports, he garnishes them with accessories such as outboard suspension, slicks, huge front and rear carbon splitters, an exposed V10 engine as well as twin roof scopes. It"s experimentation into the unknown and pretty much impossible. That doesn"t make them any less cool though.Hailing from the majestic and beautiful island of Mauritius, Yasid spent his days doodling analogue versions of his designs above in textbooks. Realising that car design isn"t a typical Mauritian industry, the 29-year-old moved to the big smoke of London to set up a design and consultancy agency. Now, after collaborating with the likes of Jon Olsson and Porschephile Magnus Walker, he"s receiving commisions to turn his radical designs into actual, real cars.Click through the gallery above for a spread of cars from a wild and wonderful place. And if you want to know how they"re made, you can watch these RSI-inducing tutorials to see the agonizing work that goes into each one. Trust us, afterwards, you"ll see them in a completely different light.
