Thank you for registering for Wheels Day 2018!
We will review your registration and if accepted we will contact you via email by March 1st with details on how and by when to pay for your ticket.
Good Luck!
It seems difficult to get in, I was going to ask if you wanted to meet int he same place as last year, but I wont need to ask that now. We will be getting a club stand for Wings & Wheels, will be great to catch up there again.Giving it a miss this year.
With the SSR a day away from site preparation for Fridays show we'd just like to clarify a few points for people.
No pass, no entry for your show car! There are no exceptions. If you don't have your car pass with you, you will be sent to public parking.
Show car gates open at 8.30, public viewing entry opens from 10am.
Adult viewing entry is £8 per adult, OAPs are £5 and children free. If you look good for your age or not please don't be offended if your asked to prove your age.
The show will run rain or shine. Obviously the show is on grass so please avoid spinning your tyres and drive sensibly. We are looking at ways to cut down on mud where we can but please dress appropriately. You will be parked as best as we can to avoid you getting stuck. If your worried about parking if your vehicle is heavy please speak to a Marshall. Heavy vehicles (buses, trucks, etc) park at the top of the hill to avoid becoming stuck.
Many thanks,
SSR
Why don't you like rushmoor then?
show cars in the ring middle and some round the outside part of the ring all the trade stands go around the outside always a good mix of cars and trade stands yes can be muddy (been there when muddy) but also when bright suuny weather good parking for spectators resomable price but i think since the 40th event at dunfold yes was there with the TA, very good event but ques for everyone thing with return to rush moor they have struggled to gain momentam again as to previous show this might be to do with being army land ? we were thinking of going in daily as it fell at the end of march didnt want to tax car till april but as many ( not on here mind you lol) have said weather not looking to good so see friday morning,
Have you seen this *** ATTENTION ALL SSR MEMBERS AND PEOPLE ATTENDING WHEELSDAY ***
Due to a burst pipe under the hill on site coupled with the terrible weather we have had leading up to the show, the show field is heavily water logged. We have spent the whole day trying to work the show around the water with all the extra rain and hale that continued to fall but it continues to spread as I write this.
Although all the traders are here and the show will go on in some capacity we ask everyone who is thinking of coming to think carefully. We have only 1/2 the arena as I write this available for parking although this could become worse dependant on the weather tonight.
Obviously we run the show as a charitable event but should you decide not to attend and wish to have a refund for your ticket please email help@wheelsday.net a copy of your PayPal transaction or the details you used to pay with so I can track your payment and we will refund those who request it next week.
Should you still wish to attend then please bare the weather in mind. We will try our hardest to park people sensibly who wish to attend.
There will be no club stand parking. Those that do attend will be parked as they arrive with single entry cars.
Andrew
