If there"s one country that knows how to do horsepower right just like the good ole U.S. of A, it"s Australia. That group of convicts, snake wranglers, and surfers just know how to make a car go fast, loudly, and smoke tires like it will get more shrimp on the Barbie faster. Recently, the country"s fastest street legal car made its way to U.S. soil to see what its backwards horsepower can do when up against American iron. It didn"t disappoint. This car is a Chrysler Valiant Charger and features a 572 cubic inch V8 that"s been tuned to produce over 2,000 horsepower thanks to a set of twin 88mm turbochargers that deliver 26psi each. It"s absolutely insane. The car was part of Drag Week and broke two of its own records while here, probably because the air is moving correctly here in the States. We just wish he had more time here, we"d love to see it go up against some other ridiculously powered American cars. So what do you all think? Can the Aussies hang with the U.S.?Chime in with your thoughts on the forum. >>Tags: Video, Drag Racing, australia, Drag Week, Chrysler, Valiant
