1959 Mercury country squire for sale <br />
Imported from the states 2 years ago and has been in regular use since. <br />
U.K. registered the v5 <br />
Mechanically spot on <br />
Fitted with a 390 v8 that s had a recent carb replacement (edlebrock) and tune up. <br />
Also had a new starter motor fitted. <br />
Edlebrock intake, custom exhaust with cherry bombs, not too loud yet sounds awesome.<br />
C6 automatic transmission <br />
Floor pans are remarkably solid with no rust, body mounts are good. <br />
Electric windows, original paint and solid body. <br />
All the glass is good and the rear window has not long since been replaced. 4 link rear suspension with bags fitted, the front has drop spindles, disc brakes and air bags fitted on dropped lower control arms. <br />
Stock steels with original hub caps and Coker white wall tyres.<br />
All chrome work is present as well as side mouldings which are particularly hard to come by even in the us. <br />
Interior is all in good order and complete including the additional boot seats making an 8 seater with still having a huge boot ! <br />
