It is believed that this car was stored in a barn in Texas for over fifty years. She has no significant rust. She s been mechanically fully restored. Engine and planetary gears out. Shells in good nick, bores good, replaced rings, all gaskets, cam bushes and seals, valves and springs, new kingpins, wheel bearings, seals, shackles. Using the original shell the radiator was rebuilt by the people who build Lancaster and Spitfire cooling and oil tanks. Planetary gears box out. All worn parts replaced, new bands, fifth main replaced. Drive shaft, diff and back axles out. Diff rebuilt, all bearings and back axle rebuilt using new parts. Renovated wooden wheels, brand new tyres and tubes from Longstones. New fire wall and hand built steering rim. A lot of the work was done at Tuckett Bros, the go to people for Model T s in Europe. She s covered a very happy 300 miles since re commissioning. She runs strong and quiet. She shows 102 years of use. I haven t touched the body work. It would be a pity to lose all that raw history. She has no top but the original top irons will come with the car. Tops are readily available. The woodwork has been treated but will need work sometime in the future. This is a piece of history that attracts great interest where ever she goes. Taxed until the 1st of March 2019. A lot of fun. Comes with full photographic journal of the renovation.<br />
