The C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is powered by the new LT1 V8, which makes 460 horsepower and 465lb-ft of torque. Roughly 400hp and 400lb-ft of torque make it through the drivetrain to the tires. Shy of the C6 Z06, the C6 ZR1 and the C7 Z06, the new Stingray is the most powerful "base" Corvette of all time. However, part of the appeal of the Corvette is and always has been the ability to easily add extra power. This Corvette Stingray has been heavily modified to make big power. To be exact, this C7 Corvette has an LT1 engine which has been bored and stroked to 416 cubic inches. It is topped with worked cylinder heads and fitted with a high performance camshaft, ARH headers, and a free flowing exhaust. Oh, and did we mention an ECS 1500 supercharger with a 3.75" pulley? In the video, we watch as this built and blown Corvette Stingray makes two pulls. The first one is likely an AFR check to make sure the readings are working, and that the car won"t run too lean on the top end. After that, the driver puts the hammer down. The beefed up LT1 screams as this C7 Corvette puts monster power to the rear wheels. To make sure that we heard it, the video also includes a clip of the run as recorded from a camera attached to the rear of the car. We get to see the huge crowd gathered around the dyno.In the end, this blown C7 Stingray laid down 804 horsepower and 720lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels. Interesting, this wasn"t the best dyno run for this particular Corvette. However, the video details explain that it was a crowd favorite.Tags: 416 c.i., blown, C7, C7 Corvette, Chevrolet, Corvette, Dyno Blast, LT1, stroked, Supercharged, twin turbo
