Brooklands Museum - American Day 3rd September

A day devoted to stars and stripes as Brooklands welcomes a whole host of American cars and motorbikes. Expect a feast of chrome and colour with some gleaming Dodge, Chryslers, Mustangs, Hot Rods and much more in and around the Paddock and Motoring Village.

If everyone turns up who has said they will it will be the largest congregation of Challenges in the U.K. Ever.

Have tried to find out if the owner is one who is cruising in with us on Sunday but no one recognises it. So if you do see him Saturday can you mention the Challenger group has their own stand on Sunday and there is a meet at Tesco's next to Brooklands at 9.45 on Sunday to try and all cruise in together

Waiting at the tesco for the rest of the challengers I noticed a bit of the old brooklands banking.

How strange - Just after I took the photo someone came up to us asking what I was taking photos of - I'm guessing they were worried as they're illegals!!

A great day but spoilt by the rain that set in much earlier than forecast. Our first visit to Brooklands but look forward to returning.
Well organized, well marshaled and plenty to see.
And to top off the fun, I set today's lap record in the F1 simulator!

Nice to meet the Challenger group, some existing friends some new.
The banking is ridiculously steep too.
