This week"s Burnout Friday video features a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 with the 6-speed manual transmission. That a factory stock Camaro ZL1 will have no problems smoking it’s tires is a known quantity. However, this particular supercharged Chevy muscle car has been fitted with an aftermarket camshaft, headers, no catalytic converters and a new exhaust system. The result of these modifications is 697 rear wheel horsepower and 737lb-ft of rear wheel torque which makes this Camaro an even more monstrous burnout machine.After a short walkaround, during which time we can hear the aggressive idle of the cammed LT4 V8 engine, the driver revs the engine, dumps the clutch and gets to smoking the tires. After a few seconds, the smoke engulfs the car and the driver rolls away, letting the LT4 continue to roast the tires as the new Camaro races off into the distance.
