Each year since 2008, the folks at DreamGiveaway.com have given away at least one Chevrolet Corvette. For the 2017 contest, the Dream Corvette Giveaway will award some lucky winner not one but two gorgeous Chevy sports cars. The prize package includes a fully restored 1963 Split Window Corvette Coupe, powered by a 360 horsepower, 327 cubic inch V8. Alongside that is a 2017 Corvette Z06 which has been modified by the folks at Lingenfelter Performance. That Lingenfelter-built C7 Corvette Z07 is the subject of this week"s Burnout Friday video and this tire-shredding action is carried out by none other than Mr Ken Lingenfelter. The standard C7 Z06 will easily roast the tires with the 650hp LT4, but after Lingenfelter beefs it up this 800 horsepower Corvette is capable of some absolutely awe-inspiring burnouts. The video begins with Ken Lingenfelter talking about this modified Corvette Z06, but it is a bit hard to hear him over the wind noise. This Corvette Z06 features ported and polished factory LT4 cylinder heads, a new camshaft and an Edelbrock E-Force supercharger, which when combined with a good engine tune lifts the output from 650 to 800 horsepower. The video first shows a big burnout from the LPE-tuned Corvette Z06 from the front and the smoke show is respectable, to say the least. However, the second burnout, which is filmed from the side, is longer and smokier, ending with the Lingenfelter Corvette continue to smoke the tires at it races away from the camera.Again, you can win this car from DreamGiveaway.com for as little as $3, which is the starting price of a sweepstakes ticket.Tags: Burnout Fridays, C7, C7 Corvette, C7 Z06, Corvette, Corvette Z06, Ken Lingenfelter, Lingenfelter
