This week"s Drag Race video features a C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray drag racing somewhere overseas against all sorts of high performance competitors. There is no information on this Corvette, so it could be stock or modified, but we know that it has the 7-speed manual transmission and a driver who knows how to get off of the line in a hurry. At the beginning of the video, we see the white Corvette beat a Mustang GT, an Audi R8, a C6 Corvette, a Mercedes AMG sedan and another Audi R8, but when the Stingray takes on a Porsche 911, things begin to go south. After losing to the Porsche, the Corvette loses to an Audi wagon, a Lamborghini and a couple big sedans, all as clutch smoke pours from the back of the white Chevy. Based on the title, the clutch went away during the course of the day, causing the Corvette to be slow enough to lose the later races.Join the LS1 crowd in the forum.>>Tags: C7, Chevrolet, Corvette, drag race monday, Stingray
