PRICE REDUCTION !!!!!! Extremely Rare (have you ever seen one.Look at the shape of the rear wing) Hess and Eisenhardt conversion (the company that did the presidential limosines)considered to be the best looking conversion.About 100 of these were made in 1985.This is the last of the proper Chrome bumper Eldorados and has covered only 90,000 miles.Imported from Florida and owned(and garaged) by me for 10 years.The floorpan and sills are in exceptional condition.The chrome is amazing. MOT end July 2016.This is a truly usable sized Cadillac and handles beautifully having the touring suspension.Still has the original proper wire wheels to compliment the four wheel disc brakes.Please don"t get the wrong idea.This is a lovely clean, shiny nice running car (Looks mint from a few yards)but does require a little work and should be thought of as an easy rolling restoration.Requires a complete respray (although perfectly presentable) and needs a worn out tappet replacing.After initial start up engine will run lovely and quiet until the oil warms up.The lined soft top is nice and clean but has two small holes(See photo)Blue leather interior with white piping in nice condition but has split around Cadillac logo on back seat.Beautiful original thick pile carpeting with the matching protective mats. She has a brand new windscreen, clean oil,new air filter oxygen sensor, plugs and leads,a brand new alternator, lower suspension ball joints and rear brake flexys.All the drive belts have recently been changed as well.Is it worth driving all the way down here to view? Absolutely.Yes we live in Cornwall but we are easy to get to being located on a major road.She holds her own on the show field against older super valuable classics.She"s great fun to cruise in with the powered hood down.Own what is probably the only one in the country.People are asking 6500 to 7500 often with a higher mileage for a nice coupe and this is an ultra rare convertible! Extra photos available including some of the underside.Willing to haggle. Would like to part-exchange mine against a rust-free "71" or "72" Eldorado Convertible, a"71" Boat tail Buick or a "61" Cadillac.
