My stunning 1968 Cadillac Sedan Deville is now reluctantly up for sale. <br />

Due to work commitments, I no longer have the spare time available to enjoy the car. I currently use the car for classic car shows and local club meets and also as a Wedding / TV / Photoshoot business which has proved to be very profitable!<br />
<br />
All of this extra activity has proved to be very time consuming which I do not have time for anymore so now the painful decision is to sell on to another enthusiast who can devote the time to which it deserves.<br />
The car has recently been used by the Universal Channel for its Summer road trip campaign and also an Asian Wedding magazine (Khush) for a shoot at Hylands House. I have had to turn down many many other TV and photoshoot work purely due to work commitments.<br />
It has proved to be very popular as a main wedding vehicle (Essex County Cadillacs) and for other special occasions. Insurance is also cheap at around 170 a year and of course it is road tax free.<br />
<br />
A full days photoshoot can make around 900, a local wedding 200 rising anywhere between 400 to 800 depending on distance, time of hire etc. Fuel is the biggest expense to take into consideration at around 12mpg.<br />

Car details:<br />
20ft long and 7ft wide, all journeys need prior planning for width restrictions!<br />
Imported from California to the UK in 2005.<br />
New radiator, Newly refurbished Rochester carb from the States, fan coupling, oil & filter, alternator, voltage regulator, battery, leads, plugs, coil, cap, power steering hose and rear brakes. Tyres are all excellent and will not need replacing in the near future. Last MOT had no advisories.<br />

Never overheats, runs at about a quarter mark and never goes near halfway. Runs and sounds lovely through a single exit exhaust. A dual exhaust with correct resonators would sound the business as would air ride which is something I had planned...<br />
<br />
Bodywork is excellent, solid and very straight, again solid underneath with only minor surface patina on some areas that cannot be seen. Chrome is good throughout and polishes nicely, couple of minor bumps in the chrome which could be rectified without too much bother if you have the time. The vinyl roof has been replaced at some point and looks as new.<br />
Interior is in excellent condition with no dash cracks, door cards are perfect. There is a slight tear on the drivers seat (repairable) and a tear between the rear seats which is also repairable. I have done many weddings and other work with this car and this has never been noticed. The carpets are good and even has the original floor mats.<br />
<br />
It is fully loaded with air con and climate control (disconnected at the moment), power windows which are pillar less (looks awesome with all windows down), electric front bench seat, automatic headlights, cruise control, telescopic steering adjustment, power locks etc. An mp3 stereo has been fitted in the glovebox along with modern speakers which cannot be seen. The original radio is connected and still works.<br />
<br />
It comes with loads of receipts, original owners handbook and Automobile Assoc folder with receipts dating back to the 70"s for various general repairs etc.<br />
<br />
There are a couple of niggly issues relating to the electrics: Interior lights do not come on and engine temp warning light is always on which strangely goes out which you hit the horn. This just needs a weekend to trace a bad earth somewhere. The clock also does not work.<br />
