We were checking out the Drag Addicts YouTube channel, and we found two modified fifth-gen Camaro SS’ squaring up for a drag race. Of course, the white car is a pre-facelift 2010-2013 model, and the red car is a 2014+, but otherwise, should be pretty even. Both are packing 6.2-liter L99 V8 engines with automatic transmassions. Though, both are also modified, with the red car sounding particularly healthy. So, we’re going to take a guess that both cars have exhaust work, and likely a cam swap.Interestingly, both cars are also rocking small diameter rear wheels, presumably wrapped with drag radials. So, they should be pretty close, at least, on paper. However, we don’t know what suspension modifications each car is rocking, so that’s can leave some margin of error between the twnce both cars line up at the tree and take off, there is a clear winner, from start to finish. The red facelifted Camaro pulls away from the white car like it’s standing still. Why? Well, white car seems to be pretty stiff sprung, while the red squats down over its rear tires and puts in work. Winning the 60′ is a big part of winning the race, and these modified Camaros show that even with big power, if you can’t put it to the ground, it’s worthless.Join the LS1tech forums today!Tags: camaro, Camaro SS, Drag Race, Drag Suspension, fifth gen, L99, LS3
