This Australian-flavored burnout comes to us from the fudgeman333 YouTube channel and it features a 2006 Pontiac GTO shedding a little rubber from the rear tires. Considering the fact that Aussies do burnouts better than anyone, it should come as little surprise that this Australian export puts on such a fantastic smoke show.Cammed LS2There are no real details on this car, but we know that the 2006 Pontiac GTO was powered by the LS2 V8, delivering 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. We also know that this engine has been modified with at least an aftermarket camshaft, so it is making more power than stock we just don"t know how much more. It also seems to be a bit louder than a stock LS2 car, so it likely has some exhaust upgrades as well, making it sound even more gnarly with the big cam.In stock form, an LS2 GTO is a solid burnout machine, but as the video above shows, adding some extra power transforms the last Pontiac muscle car into an incredible tire slayer. The Smoke ShowThe video begins with the bright red GTO sitting still with the cammed engine running, giving us a chance to hear the wicked, lumpy idle of the worked LS2. After a couple of seconds, the driver brings up the engine speed and drops the clutch, instantly spinning and smoking the rear tires.Within the first 20 seconds of burnout action, the smoke is thick enough that the camera struggles to keep the car in focus. The cameraman moves around to the front of the car, giving us a better look at the GTO in action, but the smoke quickly encompasses the entire car.Fortunately, the driver lets the Pontiac muscle car lurch forward away from the smoke, allowing us to see a few more seconds of burnout action until the cloud has once again swallowed up the car.The video ends with the GTO driver putting together a series of smoky burnouts. Of course, all of this is accompanied by the sweet sound of the cammed LS2. Crank up your speakers and enjoy!Join the LS1tech forums now!Tags: Burnout Fridays, GTO, Holden, LS2, Video
