Just last week, February 19, the brand new Callaway Camaro SC610 debuted. This past Saturday, the day after it was shown off, the very first example was involved in a strange sequence of events that saw a 1932 Ford ramming into its rear. The tragic moment happened at Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, California. According to accounts from people on the scene, the cars were in the staging lanes at the track, the ’32 Ford’s suicide door popped inadvertently opened while driving. The person behind the wheel got distracted and hit a Ford Mustang, then rammed into the rear of the Callaway, causing some decent damage.Furthermore, the Ford pinged off the Camaro and also hit another Fox Body Ford Mustang. The dramatic chain reaction continued with the Mustang hitting yet another Mustang in front of it. Woof. Thankfully, the fresh 610-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter V8 in the Camaro appears to be touched, and nobody was injured. Stay safe at the track, everybody! #gallery-2 { margin: auto; } #gallery-2 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 25%; } #gallery-2 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-2 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */ <br style="clear: both" />

Lucky there wasn't more damage to the Callaway. Think the Ford's headers came off pretty bad in all that.
