Well giving it a go today,

Both doors wide open.

One seat out, comparing power connectors I may have a small issue.
Original seats have 2 pin.

New seats are 5 pin.

google could be your friend do you know the age of the car they came out of and do a cross refferance?

It's was from a 95 and believe it was a ta.
All 5 wires are connected, there is black end orange same thickness and color as old seats. Plus an extra 3 thin wires. The seat has what looks like a vacuum tube and pipes going up the back of the seat.

The thicker ones must be power and an ohm's test shows a relative load when a switch is activated, which would be the motor.

Spliced into the seat loom with my old connector, keeping the 5 pin intact.

There is also more manual controls on the new seat, the tilt is manual, before this was electric. So I'm not loosing anything by not plugging the seat in.

Seatbelts taken out too, as the plastic bit surrounding the metal was broken in the bit you clip in. These were salvaged from the 1995 TA, and working fine, tested them on the way, identical to my originals.
