Just the other day we brought you the news that three separate Lotus Carltons would be going up for sale at the Silverstone Auctions Race Retro sale this weekend. Well, now is probably the time to admit that we may have got slightly distracted while writing that story.That"s because the lot list for the auction is an eclectic mix of road-going and racing cars all of which we immediately want to spend our savings on.The beauty of the Race Retro sale is that while some of the cars might be unobtainable classics, there"s also room for plenty of interesting metal that won"t cost much more than a modern-day hatchback.
