Chelsea Cruise Dates 2015

A few of attempted to go to one of these last year but it was rained off, big time. So I have found the dates for this year!!

The cruises take place on Chelsea Bridge and King's Road, starting at 1930, on the last Saturday of each month from March to October. The dates are as follows;

March 28th
April 25th
May 30th
June 27th
July 25th
August 29th
September 26th
October 31st


This year I am hoping to go to a few of them! Great cruise up there!

Same here, heard soo much about it. I've wanted to be a part of it, just never got up there to do it. Going to do at least one of these this year.

It's never appealed, but then I have heard so many horror stories.
Idiots losing control of their cars, (priceless Boyd Coddington car innocently parked on the side road destroyed this way!), idiots causing high police presence, anti car protestors damaging people's pride and joy etc
Of course I recognise that these are exceptions and might not be every event, but it's always put me off attending.

You do see videos of people misbehaving, and on bikes too. I dont know if its every time if its 8 events per year and you don't hear of trouble 8 times a year. It will be interesting to hear from someone who goes. Reece goes to Ace Cafe, not sure if he has done the Chelsea Cruise. Kev Jerret has done the chelsea cruise a few times, and I've only heard positive things from him.

Bit of searching and I came across several discussions about how the front drive, booming stereo brigade ruined it with dangerous driving and music so loud it would make your ears bleed (a fascination I have never understood!).
I also came across lots of pictures of the old cruise with Supercharged Rovers and Vauxhalls from the 60/70's, 50's Americans, Model T's and even a leopard skin Mustang!

I would be keen to know whats its like now.

Guildford cruise was also ruined by the Avon 'Nova' cars loud music driving badly, it got shut down after an accident.
