1941 Chevrolet Truck, Long bed - 1 year only (same as 1942-1946 but using old stock from 1940, i.e., Door handles & rear window surrounds). <br />
Background of Truck: From North Dakota which was heavily used on a farm. When it arrived in the UK it had broken front leaf springs, worn king pins, worn rear axle and stuck engine (usual I guess) but it was very solid with minimal welding needed. Photo"s are available from when it arrived to what it is today!<br />
The truck has been fitted with HEIDTS front end based on Mustang (made for year of truck - welded in) with independent suspension, Disc brakes and power steering. It has a V8 305 engine; 350 box, 10 bolt Chevy axle, IDIDIT steering column and steering wheel, auto meter gauges, juke box in glove box, 12 volt re-wire with heater, moved fuel tank from under seat to rear using Land Rover fuel tank and adapted to use auto meter sender and gauge. Altered bench seat , storage and speakers, Mr Gasket electric fan, the list goes on........ <br />
Custom paintwork highlighting a patina effect with Indian Motocycle signwriting and with smoothies all round.<br />
