MOT till August 2018, Classic Insurance is only 230! A truly useable daily driver that is such a pleasure to drive, easy to park thanks to power steering, stops on a dime thanks to the power brakes and has a kenwood stereo if you get stuck in traffic. The soundtrack with the windows down is always the best entertainment though.<br />

The car is a much loved 1979 Camaro Rally Sport that has been well maintained by its previous owner of 8 years. In that time he has had the car resprayed, a new headlining fitted, new carpets, new American racing wheels.<br />

Apart from subtle upgrades the car is completely stock original and because of this fact drives great, exactly as chevy intended. Apart from chrome rockers the engine bay is completely original even down to the air intake and box, the car even comes with its original build sheet (which is pretty rare). It makes a wonderful investment for the future (the price of original cars like this are going up dramatically stateside).<br />

Everything works exactly as it should. The dials are all functioning, I think the rev counter is inaccurate but works (it can be adjusted), the heater blows hot and is directional, even the old electromagnetic clock works. The air con is still in the car, the previous owner has fitted a new compressor and pipes but the belt is removed so I assume it still needs work. It reduces the mpg and bhp but it is all there if you wanted it reinstated.<br />

It handles well, burns no oil with no knocks and unpleasant noises. It has a smooth gear change and starts on the button every time. The amazing thing about this car is that it drops no fluids. Shockingly I have a completely fluid free driveway (the first time I have had an American classic, that didn t mark its territory a little)<br />

In recent months I have given her a fresh service, oil, oil filter, air filter, plugs, new battery, changed some of the wheel studs/nuts and fixed the handbrake.<br />

The car is UK registered, has a full mot and is ready to go and have fun.<br />

This is an original high spec, sought after car that needs no work whatsoever, you can literally drive her and enjoy her, however she is a 38 year old lady so is not perfect. In time she could do with new front seat covers (you can buy new covers for both seats for about 280 and they zip on) and the paintwork is good but not perfect.<br />
