This car is the best example of a 1957 Chevy Bel-Air convertible you will ever find , its probebly up there with some of the best in the world , and that"s not exaggerating this is a total rebuilt with everything new including nuts, bolts, washers, springs, tags, labels positioned where they should be, ect, It was built to be exactly as it came out of the factory totally original throughout, No non original extras of any kind, with matching numbers note american number match is different to the uk, it works as the diff, engine, transmission, intake manifold, match the chassis number as it was from the factory so check this out for yourselves it will be explained to you better than i can. ,, money was no object for the resteration that was completed by, Old Gold Chevy,labanion p.a.They only restore 55 56 57 chevrolet they do it all day and every day they are the true proffesionals . The restoration was in aprox $149,000 this is without buying a belair convertible which can be around 40,000 to 60,000 dolars that needs restoration. the car was built for a famous american football player that played for the new york jets, it was one of 11 convertibles that he has in his colection ,my frend had it shipped to the UK last year. this car is truly immaculate inside outside and underneath you wont find a better one. it has only done 1,200 dry miles, since it was built, it had 1129 miles on it when it left America and only done 70 odd miles.
