Hi, selling this 79 Camaro (BUMBLEBEE in the making) v8 305 with Lunati cam holley 650 carb headman headers torker intake runs great and is reliable the inside is clean but previous owner has painted it all black from the original red and shows signs of wear here and there she will need new rear lower sail panels as the have gone brittle and one has a crack but this has to be the only problem areas of this car as the paintwork is spot on has the odd chip, has American racing wheels 15x11 on the rear, she is great on fuel when traveling long journeys to car shows as the rear gearing is set up for motoway driving you can travel at 60mph at just around 1000rpm, she will not spin the wheels due to the rear gear which I think are 2.43 thus the low rpm at high speed (I like to spin wheels) so if you don"t like spinning wheels then she is fine, also the chap had installed the new Lunati drag cam but did not change the stall converter which means she ticks over fine in neutral but when in gear she will stall, but I use both feet which is fine for now, she needs a new boot lock I may get one before sale only 30, the exhaust has cut outs which I have blanked off but still sounds awesome, tyres all good the underside is all covered in undercoat, in all she is a solid car with all of the hard work done the body was painted last year with polyetherin paint which is very shiny and has 10 year guarantee against paint fade (still have a few litres of paint to go with car) also has a 4 " bonnet scoop which can be bolted off. A good solid genuine car for a fair price as 2nd Gen Camaros are getting more harder to find in a decent solid condition just take a look and see how many are for sale, be quick if you want a genuine bargain MOT till Feb 17. She is 37 years old so she isn"t a mint show winner car but is a very honest genuine car that sounds and looks awesome and gets serious attention
also have old mots, receipts paperwork etc Brakes are new on rear and front pads few months old I think they will need bleeding in, has had new pipe and flexi hose fitted Wheels are American racing alloys rears are 15x11" Tyres are all very good
