1979 Chevrolet Corvette 350 V8 with TH350 auto transmission, power steering and power disc brakes. Finished in Light Blue with Dark Blue leather seats and matching interior.T-Top Targa roof with securing harness and panel bags. Beautiful Corvette factory wheels with recent tyres. <br />

The original hand book and owners warranty documents are with it and contained in a detailed history file going back to its dealer invoice. First owned by a Richard T Leonard who was an GM employee who bought the Corvette under their employee purchase program.A very nice letter from him detailing the circumstances is contained in the file.Imported into the UK in 1989 and subsequently owned by the treasurer of the Classic Corvette Club of GB with a total of just 3 former owners since. Apart from the fitting of the Ground Effect body kit and modern sound system the cars appearance remains basically unchanged.<br />

Subject to a major refit in 2004 when the car was repainted in its factory colour (we believe a 1 year only option) and new leather seats and carpeting were installed along with the fitting of new hub caps and trims along with various other new parts.Invoices in the file along with all Mots from 1989 confirming the mileage at 107000, whilst cannot be guaranteed understand to be genuine.<br />

This is a quite exceptional example from the the closing era of the classic C3"s. Nice deep finish to the paint without the usual Corvette issues and has managed to retain a high level of originality throughout with its factory carburetor and air cleaner system.Everything works-all gauges, electrics,vacuum system,interior lighting.Complete with spare wheel,factory tools and 2 sets of keys. <br />

Out of the many Corvettes we have had this is without doubt one of the very best. Did I say how it drives? Just about faultlessly.The big bore exhaust system lets people know you are heading their way and the whole driving experience makes being behind the wheel a great place to be.<br />

As with all our cars it will be supplied serviced and given a new 12 months MOT.<br />
