California car, I imported the car to the U.K. from the State of California,U.S.A.in September 2015 after owning and driving the car in California for two years.<br />
Passed U.S. smog in 2014 prior to shipping.<br />
U.K. MOT just passed until August 2018.<br />
All relevant U.K. import duties and taxes have been paid.<br />
Automatic transmission and engine are very strong.<br />
Very clean straight body, good paint, no visible rust.<br />
I have recently spent a lot of money on the car renewing the following items.<br />
Tires, water pump, radiator, distributor, coil, brake pads, brake booster, catalytic converters, thermostat, headlight motor bearings, door seals, wiper blades, alternator, rear sway bar bushings.<br />
The seats have been recovered, new Corvette rugs, the headlights, tail lights also rear fog lights have been modified for the U.K. MOT test.<br />
The top is removable and stores in the back of the car.<br />
Wheels have been upgraded to Corvette C5 specs and are chrome.<br />
This is a great classic Chevrolet Corvette, the only real American sports car, incredibly fast, not for the faint hearted, this thing flies, it is great fun to drive, a real eye catcher, always starts a conversation when parked.<br />
These cars are still rare in Europe and are appreciating in value, it should prove to be a good investment.<br />
I am prepared to deliver the car to any shipper, or city at the purchasers cost.<br />
