I purchased this lovely truck directly from the importer over two years ago. It came from California which is a dry state. It comes with a copy of the American title and the American licence plate. I was told the wooden bed is the original, but I would take that with a pinch of salt. The truck was UK registered on 30/12/2014 it came over with a high spec as follows:<br />
Bronze metalic hotrod flatz paint,<br />
Chevrolet 5.7 v8 with th350 auto gearbox,<br />
Camaro front clip, 10 bolt Camaro rear axle, front disc brakes with servo/brake booster, power steering with Camaro tilt/adjustable steering , alloy racing fuel tank, new American racing chrome smoothies with white wall tyres,new black carpet and black headlining.<br />
Since owning the truck I have spent over 10k getting her up to my standard. All work professionally carried out with bills to prove. I am only selling as I have got my eye on another vehicle as you do. Very smooth / quiet engine. It pulls superbly and runs with no known faults. This truck hauls ass and steers like it is on rails.<br />
Some of the work/parts carried out in my ownership as follows:<br />
Fully reconditioned th350 3 speed auto box and torque converter with shift reprograming kit and Lokar 8 ball lever/shifter,<br />
New Mishimoto racing alloy radiator,<br />
New Holly 600 carb with Eldebrock chrome 14" air filter,<br />
New rear suspension kit inc new shocks and leaf springs,<br />
New rear exhausts pipes and brackets/hangers,<br />
New set of red racing ht leads,<br />
New full cloth wiring harness,<br />
New front indicator/side lights,<br />
New wiper motor kit with chrome wipers and arms,<br />
New chrome tail gate chains,<br />
New retro chrome window leavers and door handles,<br />
I have just given it an engine /oil filter change with quality valvoline engine oil.<br />
Please note this truck is in really good order and the chassis is solid. It even has the original art deco styled chrome dash and clocks,<br />
But it is now 63 years old and far from new! So please do not expect a new truck. This is my own personal truck so no vat
