For sale is my Chevrolet G20 Sport Star SL by Starcraft. I bought it 2 years ago to carry my daughter"s bridesmaids to the church and since then, the van has only done 406 miles. It appealed to me because its the only long G20 I"d seen without a huge fibreglass bubble sat on top of it. Its lived in a barn throughout my ownership and has a new MoT.<br />

The van is fitted with a 5.0 litre V8 and has done only 73k miles. When I bought it, I fitted a new complete propshaft, new rear air-load shocks, a new LPG system, poly anti-roll bar bushes, full set of tyres, new towbar and new door locks. Still in the box waiting to be fitted is a pair of new chrome mirrors. <br />

Inside, it has a full set of seats with spinning captain seats at the front. The driver s seat fabric has suffered a little and there are a couple of the many lights which don t. The heater matrix developed a leak and a previous owner bypassed the heater. New matrices are available cheaply but one of 3 types may be fitted.<br />

The same previous owner used the van to push cars around his yard so the beautiful, rust-free front bumper will need the centre pulling out a little. A rear-mounting spare wheel device will be supplied with the van and a couple of the running lights are broken. There are quite a few small areas of corrosion setting in and an attempt at matching paint around the bottom half failed. Now is the time to sort the bodywork before it gets bad and I don t have the time. This, plus my wish to reduce my collection of cars and vans by 99% is why the van is for sale.<br />

Nothing like a good look round to be able to judge the van properly for yourself so viewing is encouraged by appointment, just east of Shrewsbury in Shropshire.<br />
